SRH vs RCB, IPL 2026: Virat Kohli did not shake hands with Travis Head after the game at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium on Friday and that has sparked a controversy. After the win, Kohli shook hands with SRH skipper Pat Cummins. but just walked past Head, who had put his hand out for a handshake. Here is the clip that is now going viral.

It looked rude and ugly and hence it is important to know what exactly prompted the move from Kohli. The former RCB captain was seen fuming at Head while he was batting. From a few clips that are doing the rounds, it can be seen that Kohli asks him to roll his arms over. It was clear that Kohli was trying to take a swipe at Head, who has largely been playing as an Impact Player this season. 

Whatever it be, the negative tactics of Kohli did not work as he perished early for a 11-ball 15. Kohli perished while trying to play an extravagant cover-drive off Sakib Hussain. He was caught by Smaran Ravichandran at covers. Once Kohli was out, Head walked up to him and retorted by saying: “Mate, you got out before I even came on to bowl."

Former India cricketer Irfan Pathan spoke about the heated exchange between the two players and reckoned it ‘wasn’t right'. 

Former India allrounder Irfan Pathan was commentating when things got heated up between Kohli and Head. Later, he said: “See what happened during the game can happen, in the heat of the moment. That's okay but what happened after that wasn't right.”

With the win, RCB ensure they will get two shots at the finale.
